Poem A Day Challenge – Day 13

I have to admit, today was a struggle. I spent the majority of it on a plane and it should have offered plenty of time for reflection, but the words wouldn’t flow.

I may re-visit this one because I like the concept I landed on for this Family poem.

Three sisters
They shine so bright
Diamond, topaz and tanzanite
The signs will tell you
They’re different
Of the earth
The gods destined to
Ensure they clash
Storms of rage
Followed by howls of laughter
All is forgotten
Peace restored
Three sisters
Joined by their hearts
The gods smiled on us
